Wir leben im Zeitalter des Anthropozän, in dem die natürlichen Lebensgrundlagen fast ausnahmslos menschlich überformt, und immer mehr zerstört werden. Wir erlangen langsam ein Bewusstsein, dass unser Handeln und Nichthandeln darüber entscheiden, wie lange wir noch auf diesem Planeten leben können. Eine neue Denke ist dringend von Nöten. Diese Ausstellung ist der Frage gewidmet, inwieweit Offenheit und Ganzheitlichkeit eines künstlerisch geformten Denkens unserer Gewohnheiten überwinden kann.
We live in the age of the Anthropocene, in which the natural foundations of life are almost without exception humanly over formed, and increasingly destroyed. We are slowly gaining an awareness that our actions and inactions will determine how long we can continue to live on this planet. A new form of thinking is urgently needed. This exhibition is dedicated to what extent openness and holism of an artistically formed thinking can overcome our tendency to create more and more of the same.
